Laser Tatoo Temoval

  • Does tattoo removal hurt?

Most of our clients describe the feeling of tattoo removal to be similar to getting the tattoo in the first place. Others compare it to a bad sunburn, or the feeling of a rubber band snapping against the skin. To minimize any potential discomfort, we may offer to apply numbing cream to the target area before the tattoo removal process begins.

  • How long does it take to remove a tattoo?

The time it takes to remove a tattoo depends on many factors, including the size, location, type of ink used, and how well your body responds to the treatment. Tattoo removal typically requires multiple treatments spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart, which gives your body time to process each treatment. Clients typically start to notice their tattoo fading after about three sessions.

  • How many treatments are needed?

A series of treatments are typically recommended. The number of treatments needed is dependent on variables such as ink type, size of the tattoo, location on the body, lifestyle habits, etc.

Vein Treatments

  • Do vein treatments hurt?

You describe a range of sensations from tingling to the snap of a rubber band during the treatment.

  • How long are treatments?

Treatments can take anywhere from 5-30 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated.

  • How many treatments are needed?

A series of treatments may be needed to fully clear blood vessels and reduce the appearance of the veins completely. Typically, one to four sessions are needed for desired results.

  • What type of result can I expect?

Different people experience immediate improvement in the appearance of their veins following the treatment followed by continued improvement over the next week or so.

Skin revitalization

  • How do treatments for fine lines and wrinkles work?

As you age, you body naturally produces less elastin and collagen—the building blocks of smooth, youthful skin—which leaves behind unwanted lines and wrinkles.

Many of our skin revitalization treatments are specially designed to target the outer layers of the skin (and in the case of laser treatments, the underlayers of the skin) to trigger your body’s natural healing process response to rebuild the tissue and boost collagen production.

The result is a more even skin texture that fills in lines and wrinkles with your body’s own collagen. Talk to one of our medical aestheticians about which skin revitalization technique is best for you.

  • How many treatments will I need?

Every person’s skin is different, and your treatment plan is unique to you! Some people are satisfied with one session of a skin revitalization treatment, while others choose to have several.

  • Laser Hair Removal

  • What areas can laser hair removal treat?

Laser hair removal is an excellent option to remove hair on the face (including the upper lip, cheeks and chin) underarms, arms, legs, back, bikini line, chest and more!

  • Does laser hair removal hurt?

Laser hair removal can cause some discomfort, especially for the more sensitive areas of the body. However, clients describe laser hair removal as less painful than other methods of hair removal, especially waxing.

  • How long does a session of laser hair removal take?

A session of laser hair removal can last anywhere from 5-60 minutes depending on the size of the treatment area.

  • Why does laser hair removal require multiple treatments?

Body hair naturally grows in 3 different stages. Since hair is never in the same growing stage at the same time, multiple laser treatments are needed to catch each hair at the optimal part of the growing cycle to produce the best results.

  • What can I expect after a laser hair removal session?

You may notice redness at the treatment area, and it may feel similar to a mild sunburn. Most side effects are mild and go away within 24 hours.

  • What overall results can I expect from laser hair removal?

Over time, you can expect to see less hair overall, and remaining hair is thinner. You may also see less stubble, fewer rashes, and fewer ingrown hairs.

  • Is laser hair removal right for me?

Our laser hair removal process is safe and effective for people with all skin tones and most hair colours. We will gladly work with you to develop a customized hair removal plan.

CoolSculpting®

  • What areas can CoolSculpting® treat?

The CoolSculpting® procedure can treat many areas, including under the chin, upper arm, thigh, abdomen and “love handles” as well as areas around the bra, back, and underneath the buttocks.

  • Does CoolSculpting® hurt?

Everyone’s experience is unique. During the procedure you may experience sensations of pulling, tugging, mild pinching, intense cold, tingling, stinging, aching, or cramping at the treatment site. These sensations may subside as the area becomes numb.

  • Where does the fat go?

Once the treated fat cells are crystallized (frozen), they are destroyed and are naturally processed and eliminated by the body.

  • How long is each CoolSculpting® treatment?

  • When can I expect to see results from CoolSculpting?
