Dermal Fillers

Dermal Fillers can help restore the volume that naturally fades over time by plumping the skin, improving symmetry, and smoothing out folds and lines around the eyes, nose, and mouth.

We offer several kinds of Health Canada-approved derma fillers to suit your particular beauty needs. Talk to us to see which kind of derma filler might be right for you.

Hyaluronic Acid fillers: Hyaluronic acid (HA) is already found in your skin and helps it feel plump and hydrated. Results last six to twelve months before HA is naturally absorbed into your body.

Calcium Hydroxylapatite fillers (Radiesse®): Made with tiny biodegradable microspheres suspended in a water-based gel, Radiesse® creates volume underneath the skin and stimulates the body’s natural ability to produce collagen, a key part of youthful skin.

Poly-L-Lactic Acid fillers (Sculptra® Aesthetic): These kinds of fillers typically take a little longer to show noticeable results, but also last longer than other fillers. Sculptra® is a synthetic substance that is compatible with your body and works by stimulating collagen production.

Dermal Fillers FAQ

Dermal fillers can be used to add volume to the cheeks, lips, under-eye hollows, nasolabial folds, and jawline, and to smooth out wrinkles and fine lines.

The concern with dermal fillers as pointed out is that they have a short life span, although the life of dermal fillers depends on the type of filler used and the site of injection. All fillers are temporary and normally have a range of 6-18 months of effectiveness.
